Frequently Asked Questions

ChangelogFeed is legacy; new changelogs belong in Fluister.

What is ChangelogFeed?

ChangelogFeed is the original standalone changelog tool from Newlin. It remains online for existing projects, but new changelog work is now handled inside Fluister.

How do I start a new changelog?

Start in Fluister at fluister.dev. Fluister includes public changelogs, feedback collection, voting boards, tickets, and release planning in one product.

Is it really free?

Existing ChangelogFeed projects remain available on the legacy free setup. For new projects or paid features, use Fluister instead.

Are Pro and Business still launching here?

No. Standalone paid ChangelogFeed plans are not launching separately anymore. The roadmap moved into Fluister, where changelogs are part of the broader feedback workflow.

Can I embed the changelog in my own app or website?

Existing ChangelogFeed embeds remain available for legacy projects. For new embeddable changelogs and feedback widgets, use Fluister.

Do you support RSS?

Yes. Every project gets an RSS feed at /api/rss/your-project-slug that users can subscribe to in their feed reader of choice.

What types of entries can I create?

You can tag entries as New Feature, Improvement, Bug Fix, or Breaking Change. Entries support Markdown for rich formatting.

Is my data safe?

All data is stored on EU servers (Germany). We use HTTPS for all connections and never sell your data. Read our full privacy policy for details.

Can I use a custom domain?

Custom domains are no longer planned for standalone ChangelogFeed. If you need branding and growth features, check Fluister pricing.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page in your dashboard. Data is fully removed within 30 days.
